The MAGNUS ONE is set to be the latest installment in ZOTAC’s series of mini-PCs called the ZBOX E. It is set to be released as a barebones machine, as well as a pre-loaded system.
The pre-loaded version of the latest release is meant to have 512 GB M.2 SSD, a 1 TB 2.5-inch HDD, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, and Windows 10 Home. An Intel Core i7-10700 processor can be found in both versions of the MAGNUS ONE. The ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 GPU is also confirmed to be a part of the mini-PCs.
ZOTAC has included two SODIMM slots that accept up to 64 GB of DDR4-2933 RAM, two M.2 2280 slots, and a single 2.5-inch drive bay for SATA 6.0 Gbps drives. All these units will be powered by a 500W GPU and will be encased within an 8.3 litre casing.
The dedicated GPU in the MAGNUS ONE enables support for HDMI 2.1. The new GPU is also set to have three DisplayPort 1.4a connections. When you use an external high-speed HDMI cable, you’ll be able to achieve a 4K/120fps resolution or an 8K/60fps resolution.
The model is also confirmed to have as many as eight USB slots, with an Intel/Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 modem. The price point for this monster mini-PC has not been officially confirmed yet. Neither has the distribution region been set as of yet.
However, there are rumors that the unit will be priced at around US$1,900. The distribution will be to markets in Australia, the US, and Japan.
