CES 2021: LG to introduce a new InstaView range with Air Sous Vide

LG Electronics will introduce a new LG InstaView® Range with Air Sous Vide at the upcoming CES 2021, which will take place virtually from January 11. The new range will deliver a complete cooking solution at home. The 6.3 cu. ft. capacity range with Air Sous Vide technology features an Air Fry mode and ProBake Convection®. LED-illuminated knobs, EasyClean® surfaces, and smart functions along with the InstaView oven panel that lights up with two quick knocks, LG offers convenient options designed to inspire consumers to get creative when it comes to preparing healthy meals at home.

Using the new Air Sous Vide (French for “under vacuum”) mode, LG’s range cooks food in vacuum-sealed bags at precise low temperature and controlled airflow – perfect for elevated dishes. The benefits of this vacuum-sealed cooking method are that the food can lock in maximum flavor and aroma to elevate home-cooked dishes right in the oven without any issues related to water baths or countertop appliances that take up extra counter space. The LG Air Sous Vide can maintain any temperature between 100 to 205 degrees Fahrenheit (38 to 96 degrees Celsius) for up to 48 hours to deliver consistent results.

Now on to comfort foods, LG’s Air Fry technology lets users prepare guilt-free versions of their favorites without all the extra oil. No preheating is required, and the LG ranges can Air Fry for parties and crowds while saving time. The gold standard of LG convection technology, LG’s ProBake Convection®, helps roast meats to perfection and evenly bakes cookies and pies on every rack, every time.

With LG’s iconic InstaView technology, which is also present in its door-in-door refrigerators range, knocking twice on the oven’s glass door illuminates the interior to check the progress inside quickly convenient visually. LED-illuminated knobs help the users to quickly see if their range burners are on from a distance. According to the Consumer Electronics Show’s (CES) report, “With new gas-equipped ranges, LG is dialing up the cooking power with a dual 22k BTU burner that rapidly achieves high heat to boil quickly or turns down to a true simmer.” The EasyClean® technology works wonders, spray the oven interior with just water, press the EasyClean option, and then within 10 minutes, quickly wipe away any leftover grime.

Another helpful feature of the new range of LG Air Sous Vide is that it can be controlled and monitored using the ThinQ app connected to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa smart speakers. In the app, users of the range can choose a recipe, and cooking instructions will be transferred to the oven, setting the appropriate cooking mode and temperature.

It also supports Proactive Customer Care and the company’s AI service solution which in turn helps customers maintain the highest level of performance and efficiency of compatible LG appliances for years to come.

LG’s virtual exhibition booth during CES 2021 will be home to the 2021 LG InstaView Range with Air Sous Vide.
