Asus and Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) today unveiled all 16 of the company’s products at CES 2021. Asus has been one of the top manufacturers of PC and PC parts for the last few years.
Asus have again introduced some new products demonstrating outstanding innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetic and design within the consumer technology realm.
AMD has announced that they are going to end their exclusive partnership with Lenovo ThinkStation for the AMD Threadripper. The AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO processors will now be directly available to consumers from March 2021.
So, now Asus has officially come up with the ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WiFi workstation motherboard. It is designed to unleash the computing power of the AMD WRX80 platform and supports AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO Processors.
Measuring in at 12 by 13 inches (EATX), this motherboard is an ideal solution for workstations for businesses as well as professional and enthusiast creators. A total of seven PCIe Gen 4 x16 slots, three M.2 slots and two U.2 onboard ports ensure extreme transfer speeds and performance, while a total of 17 USB ports provide a complete set of connectivity options.
It also features Intel® X550-AT2 dual 10Gb Ethernet and Wifi 6 for enabling fast transfer of large files. In addition, a built-in BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) chip provides intelligence for its IPMI architecture.
There has been no official confirmation from Asus about when the ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WiFi workstation motherboard will be available but it is expected to hit the major markets in Q1 2021 as the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO processors will also be available from March 2021.
