The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) will be returning for its tenth edition this year, and Jio Cinema has announced that it will be free to stream on the platform. The tournament will begin on February 23, and will feature the Mumbai Heroes taking on the Kerala Strikers in the opening fixture.Â
The matches will be played over the course of the month, with the finals set to take place on March 17 in Vizag. Fans should be aware that there are two slots for games to be played in. The afternoon slot will start at 2:30 PM IST and the evening slot will start at 7:00 PM IST. On double header days, matches will be played in these two slots as is usual in the IPL.

The Celebrity Cricket League will feature some of the biggest names in India. Salman Khan, Kichcha Sudeepa, Sohail Khan, Akhil Akkineni, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sonu Sood, Manoj Tiwari, Aarya, Jisshu Sengupta, Riteish Deshmukh, and more will take to the field as part of the month-long tournament.Â
There are eight teams playing this year, namely: Mumbai Heroes, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers, Chennai Rhinos, Punjab De Sher, Karnataka Bulldozers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs and the Telugu Warriors.Â
The format of the tournament will be the same as the ISL, with the group stage ending in two qualifiers and an eliminator. The loser of the first qualifier will play the eliminator alongside the other team that qualifies.Â
