Manchester United are all set to sign Casemiro from Real Madrid. The transfer has been given the here we go signal by Fabrizio Romano, which means that the deal is done. And we can expect an official statement from the club confirming the signing soon.
The midfielder had been given the liberty to decide his future after playing an important role in winning their last five Champions League titles. And owing to the massive financial offer, the Brazilian has decided to try a new challenge in his career.
Casemiro to join Manchester United: Done deal
Los Blancos have accepted an offer worth €60 million plus €10 million in add-ons for the Brazilian. Casemiro will sign a contract until 2026 with the option for one more year. It was previously reported that United had offered the player double his current salary.
However, that is not true, but the financial offer is still a massive one from the Premier League club. Despite the transfer going through relatively fast, Casemiro won’t be available in time for United’s match against Liverpool.
The medical assessment and visa is expected to take time. Once the formalities are completed, the contracts will be signed and he will be officially unveiled as a new Manchester United player.
