Here’s what Casemiro said in his Real Madrid farewell as he prepares for a new journey with Manchester United

Casemiro is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world right now. He has won a record 5 Champions League titles with Real Madrid and has won everything on offer at the club level. The Brazilian has now decided to try something new in the Premier League. So, he is set to join his former Real Madrid teammates Varane and Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have offered a four-year deal to Casemiro with an option for a further season. The offered transfer fee is around €60m plus €10m add-ons. They have also offered around double his salary which he is getting at Real Madrid, according to various rumours.

Casemiro will be unveiled as a new Manchester United player before their match against Liverpool tonight. Before joining United, Real Madrid arranged Casemiro’s farewell ceremony.

“This is Real Madrid. When you win, you have to win again; when you lose, it’s worth nothing.”

“It’s Real Madrid. In eight years I’ve won five European Cups. My value is that I always gave everything on the pitch. I will always remain a Real Madrid fan”.

“People should not forget the club I’m going to, the biggest team in the world that can compete with the greatness of Real Madrid, even if they can’t do it now.”

“I haven’t spoken to Cristiano Ronaldo, hopefully he will stay because he is one of the best players of all time.”

“I want to take my values to Manchester United, everything Real Madrid taught me, to win from day to day, from every training session.”
