Inter Miami’s growing galaxy of superstars just got another World Cup winner. Brazilian midfield enforcer Casemiro has signed with Inter Miami CF as a free agent, departing Manchester United to join Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul on South Florida’s ambitious project.

## The Deal

Casemiro has agreed a contract running through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, with a club option extending to June 2029. Miami also acquired his Discover Priority slot from LA Galaxy to facilitate the signing, which comes fresh off his fourth World Cup appearance with Brazil.

## Why It Matters

“After achieving virtually everything there is to achieve in fútbol, his decision to join Inter Miami shows that he shares our ambition,” said managing owner Jorge Mas, while co-owner David Beckham called Casemiro a player he’s “admired for a long time.” Miami currently sit second in the Eastern Conference under head coach Guillermo Hoyos.
