Carlos Pena leaves FC Goa after only one season in charge

Carlos Pena has chosen Brandon as FC Goa captain

Carlos Pena has officially announced his departure from FC Goa as their head coach. The manager posted a message on Twitter to confirm that he will no longer be in charge of the club. 

Goa finished seventh in the table, three points away from the playoff spots. In the Hero Super Cup, his side finished second in Group C. Pena remains a fan favourite for his contributions as a player, and Goa will now look to bring in a new manager ahead of the 2023 season.

You will always hold a special place in my heart,” Carlos Pena wrote on Twitter.
