In his most typical way of doing things, Nothing Founder and CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that its upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will also go toe to toe with the competitors, adopting to Snapdragon 8 series chipset. Though we have heard a lot of rumours about the upcoming Nothing smartphone nothing is official yet before this.
Nothing Phone (2) will adopt Snapdragon 8 platform
In its unique way, he shared a frame with the CEO of Qualcomm Cristiano R. Amon holding a jersey with Phone (2) as its player name and number 8 printed on the back.
As a part of MWC 2023, Qualcomm’s CEO didn’t miss out to showcase its new collaboration with the hyped brand Nothing and its CEO none other than Carl Pei.
While you remember that the Nothing Phone (1) was kind of a perfect mid-range device but making good phones that are powerful is a norm, especially in the 2022-23 era. Though the Phone (1) was a well-balanced phone with the Snapdragon 778 chipset but got its own criticisms for being underpowered by some.
To eradicate this, Car Pei and his Nothing team might have opted for the promising Snapdragon 8 series chipsets for the Nothing Phone (2). Though there’s no confirmation whether it will be the latest Qualcomm 8 Gen 2 or not, however, even if they opt for the last Qualcomm 8+ Gen 1 it won’t be a bad choice either.
Hopefully, in the coming days or months, we will see more teasers, leaks and rumours about this Nothing Phone (2) in the market, till then follow us to stay updated!
