Camera Assistant app is now available for Galaxy A-series phones details
The flagship Galaxy S and Z Fold/Flip series phones are the only ones that can now use Samsung’s Camera Assistant software, which offers many helpful improvements over the standard camera app, including faster shutter speeds and a 2x zoom crop. Support for the capabilities of the Camera Assistant is now available for direct download from the Galaxy Store for the Samsung Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 running One UI 6.
In addition, Camera Assistant offers a Soften Pictures feature to prevent over-sharpening, an automated lens switching toggle, Quick Tap Shutter, and the option to turn off Auto HDR. Now that the Galaxy A53 and A54 are supported, more Samsung Galaxy A-series phones might get Camera Assistant in the upcoming months.
