The Call of Duty series is gearing up to transport players to the future once again in 2025, with a sequel to Black Ops 2 set in the early 2030s. While the 2024 installment, Black Ops 6, is set against the backdrop of the Gulf War in the 1990s, the 2025 Black Ops title reportedly advances to the 2030s, continuing the narrative from 2012’s Black Ops 2, which was set in 2025.
This brand new game allegedly picks up the storyline from that point using original Black Ops 2 hero David Mason.
