It has not been long since the new game in the Call of Duty franchise was launched by Activision. Since then, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been under heavy criticism from the players.
Although this is not the first time a game has been criticized by players, this is a tradition of continuity. Sometimes a game is criticised by the critics, while sometimes players criticize it. In some instances, NGOs and other people criticize them on grounds of violence and gruesome graphics.
So, this is nothing new, but even then, it doesn’t mean that criticizing any game is normal. Similarly, here we will be dwelling on the reasons why Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is having heavy criticism.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was released recently and since instead of enthusiasm it has met with staunch criticism. Now, it has become a victim of player reviews which are being bombarded as it gets negative user reviews on Steam as well on Metacritic.
When the game title was released initially, it managed to gather more than 177,000 existing players on Valve’s Steam platform. However, when we compare it to the previous year’s condition it was much better.
Last year the new game in the franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. And it was too met with criticism players giving negative reviews for the game and graphics. Similarly, this new game has to face negative reviews, even if it is down by 25%, it still matters.
This entire case doesn’t mean that the condition of call of duty: modern warfare 3 is better than its previous counterpart. As the situation is worse Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Steam reviews are taking low.
Currently, the players are giving negative reviews for the game, expressing their anger about the in–game content. Moreover, they are furious about the pricing plans of the game.
According to them, the company promised them to offer something extraordinary for a premium charge. What they are saying that the game presented to them is the old one, but with minor changes. And for that they are charged heavily, which is unfair to them.
According to recent reports, more than 70% of reviews on Valve’s Steam are negative ones criticizing the game. Most of them mention buyers as “getting scammed” after the company sold them an old game with some revisions instead of a new game.
According to them, the game has reused game items and assets and just has minor changes in the graphics. They are complaining that they have been scammed by selling their old game for premium prices.
However, we must not forget here that many games get criticism when they lack something. To put it in another way we can also say that players are expecting more from gaming companies.
Thus, they are proving from time to time that they are well aware of everything happening around them. And what they want is the best gaming experience for every penny they spend.
