After a five-year wait since its bittersweet series finale, **Call My Agent!** is back — this time as a full-length Netflix reunion movie. Creator **Fanny Herrero** returns to reassemble the beloved French cast, but does the ASK agency’s chaotic charm hold up on the big screen?

### What’s the Plot of Call My Agent!?

The movie picks up years after the show’s shaky Season 4 finale. Former agent **Andréa Martel** (Camille Cottin) is days away from directing her first film, starring Laurent Lafitte and Laetitia Casta — until Lafitte drops out, forcing a scramble to save the production. Enter **Noémie** (Laure Calamy), the ever-optimistic line producer determined to rescue the shoot, alongside replacement lead **Vincent Macaigne**.

### Does It Recapture the Magic?

The review calls the film a “concentrated version” of the show’s best qualities — sharp dialogue, chaotic industry satire, and standout ensemble chemistry — though it leans heavily on just two characters, Andréa and Noémie, sidelining fan favorites somewhat. The “nightmare shoot” sequences are hit-or-miss, occasionally veering into over-the-top *Entourage*-style spectacle rather than the show’s grounded charm.

Still, longtime series elements shine through: composers Loïc Dury and Christophe Minck bring back familiar musical themes, **Nicolas Maury**‘s Hervé delivers the film’s funniest fourth-wall-breaking moment, and veteran actress **Liliane Rovère** reportedly gives the movie’s most emotional performance.

### Conclusion

Despite some “cartoonish” detours and thinner supporting arcs, critics agree the ensemble chemistry still makes *Call My Agent!* land on its feet — and producers have hinted this reunion could be the start of a new chapter if fans want more.

The series’ setting inside a French [talent agency](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talent_agent) gives the franchise its signature blend of showbiz satire and personal drama.
