The ‘Byomkesh O Durgorahosyo’ team has finished filming the second schedule in Madhya Pradesh and is now in Jharkhand to begin filming the third schedule. For Dev and his team, this is the last shooting leg.
Dev took to his social media accounts on Tuesday to share an exciting update with fans. He announced that the shooting schedule for the Jharkhand scene has officially kicked off. Dev even gave us a glimpse of the set, sharing a photo of himself seated in a chair.
Despite facing scorching heat in Madhya Pradesh, the dedicated cast and crew are determined to wrap up filming as swiftly as possible. Director Birsa Dasgupta has set an ambitious goal to finish shooting before diving into post-production work, aiming for an August 11 release date for the movie.
Interestingly, the inclusion of Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s ‘Durgo Rahasya’ in both a Tollywood film and a web series has sparked a division of opinions. While Dev is gearing up for his debut as the beloved detective Byomkesh Bakshi, director Srijit Mukherji is also working on a web series adaptation of the same story, featuring Anirban Bhattacharya as the iconic sleuth and reportedly Sohini Sarkar as Satyabati.
