Cinema titan Kim Dong-ho is finally receiving the prestigious Korean Cinema Award. The Busan International Film Festival founder transformed a simple port city into Asia’s premier cinematic hub. By defying government censors and championing artistic freedom, he built an unshakable foundation for independent film. Join the tribute on October 6 as we honor the architect who put Korean storytelling on the global map.
