Bukayo Saka is set to renew his contract with Arsenal very soon. There is a verbal agreement in place between the two parties to continue together since April. And after the international break, the winger will officially sign his new deal to extend his stay.

Two Premier League clubs and one foreign club were keeping an eye on the situation in case there was a chance to sign him. However, the player has always been determined to stay at Arsenal and will have better terms to stay within a matter of weeks.

This season, Saka has been the best player for Mikel Arteta’s side and has spearheaded their title challenge. He has scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists in 38 games across all competitions. And given the fact that he is only 21 years old, this is a remarkable tally.

He has also been a prolific player for Gareth Southgate’s England squad, scoring three goals at the World Cup while scoring one and assisting one during the ongoing international break.

Arsenal have already tied down one of their prolific wingers in Gabriel Martinelli. And now, Bukayo Saka is set to follow very soon. The Arsenal academy graduate will become the best-paid player in the squad, earning a wage of £300,000 per week. The new contract will run until June 2028.
