Budweiser celebrates Messi’s 644 goals by gifting Custom Beer bottles to every goalkeeper he scored against

Lionel Messi has recently broken a long-standing record held by Pele for the most no of goals scored for a single club, 643 goals. Messi has now 644 goals for Barcelona. His record-breaking goal came via a thumping shot into the bottom corner against Jordi Masip of Real Valladolid.

Messi has scored his 644 goals against 160 goalkeepers. Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas conceded 17 goals from Lionel Messi while current Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak conceded 10 times.

Budweiser, one of the prime sponsors of La Liga has taken an extra step in celebrating Messi’s record. They have made 644 unique bottles of beer. They are gifting the beer bottles which carries La Pulga’s picture in his trademark celebration pose, with the goal number that was scored against that goalkeeper.

So this means, Casillas will receive 17 beer bottles in total with the respective goal numbers that Messi scored against him. Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has also received the gift. He has posted on social media taking it as a compliment.

Budweiser has played it just right. This has been one of the boldest move for celebrating Messi’s success on the field.
