BTS’ Jimin, a member of the internationally acclaimed BTS, has just launched his eagerly awaited pre-release single “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band,” featuring Loco.

The track gives fans a thrilling sneak peek of his forthcoming second solo album, MUSE, scheduled for release on July 19.

Drawing inspiration from The Beatles’ legendary Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” seamlessly fuses hip-hop rhythms with a marching band’s vibrant, brass sounds. For this track, Jimin teamed up with acclaimed producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN, who also contributed to his debut solo album, FACE.

The stellar production team is rounded out by Tommy Brown, renowned for his collaborations with artists like Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, and Mr. Franks. The song’s title refers to the mythical “Smeraldo” flower, which represents “the truth untold.”

The lyrics explore themes of yearning and unexpressed love, resonating with the “Smeraldo” legend that was also referenced in BTS’ “The Truth Untold” featuring Steve Aoki from their LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’ album.

The music video, now available on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel, begins with a peaceful landscape and then focuses on Jimin as the lead vocalist, with producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN acting as the band’s musicians. Loco makes a special appearance. With its nostalgic and vintage ambiance, the video features cinematic opening credits and a faded, grainy texture, highlighting Jimin’s smooth dance moves and versatile voice.

Jimin’s eagerly awaited second solo album, MUSE, titled “Seven,” will consist of interconnected tracks centered around the theme of love.

The album includes the tracks “Rebirth,” “Interlude: Showtime,” “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” featuring Loco, “Slow Dance” featuring Sofia Carson, “Be Mine,” “Who,” and “Closer Than This,” which debuted in December.

Jimin has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique vocals and remarkable range, showcased in solo tracks like “Lie,” “Serendipity,” and “Promise,” as well as in collaborations like “With You” from the Our Blues OST and “VIBE” with Taeyang.

His debut solo album, FACE, created a milestone by making him the first South Korean solo artist to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS, comprising RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, has experienced rapid growth since its debut in June 2013.

The group is acclaimed globally for their self-produced music, dynamic performances, and strong bond with their fanbase, known as ARMY. They have earned numerous achievements, including six Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles and selling out stadiums worldwide.

“Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” featuring Loco is currently available, with MUSE set to release on July 19.
