BSNL launched new broadband plans in India with OTT benefits

Customers of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) now have access to two additional broadband options. One of these plans includes OTT (over-the-top) features in addition to being fairly cheaply priced.

Both the Fiber Basic OTT and Fiber Basic Super broadband plans are new offerings from BSNL. High-speed internet access up to 75 Mbps is available with the Rs 599/month OTT subscription. Up to 125 Mbps of internet speed is available with the Super plan, which costs Rs. 699 per month.

The fiber-broadband service provided by BSNL Bharat Fibre is available to residents of all regions of India. We’ll be looking at two new broadband options that the company has offered to its customers today. Both of these subscriptions are priced under Rs 1000 and provide OTT services in addition to high-speed internet access.

BSNL Fiber Basic and OTT internet plans and details

With a monthly cost of Rs 599, the Fiber Basic OTT package offers internet speeds up to 75 Mbps. A 4,000GB monthly fair use policy (FUP) is part of it. Users can keep using unrestricted internet at a maximum speed of 4 Mbps for the rest of the month after hitting the FUP limit.

In addition, the plan includes a subscription to the Disney+ Hotstar Super plan and unlimited calling to any network within India. Anywhere in the country where BSNL FTTH services are accessible, this plan is offered.

A six-month subscription period starting on the day their FTTH connection was activated would also prevent customers who recently chose to enroll in any of the aforementioned plans under a monthly payment option from being charged the revised rate.

The Rs 699 per month Fiber Basic Super plan offers internet speeds of up to 125 Mbps. A monthly FUP of 4,000GB is included. After exceeding the FUP limit, users can continue to enjoy unfettered internet at up to 8 Mbps for the balance of the month.

This new plan now includes unlimited calling to all national networks. Additionally, customers have the option to activate over-the-top services using add-on packs. This plan is available throughout the nation, with the Punjab Telecom Circle being the only exception.
