Bryan Gil is set to return to LaLiga, with Girona agreeing a loan move with Tottenham for the winger. The former Sevilla youth product will extend his contract with Spurs before going out on loan.
But this time, the two parties have agreed to include a €15 million release clause in his contract valid from next summer. Girona will have first preference if they decide to trigger the contract, but other clubs can also activate it provided they can convince the player to join them.

The 23-year-old made the move to London in the summer of 2021 for a fee worth €25 million. However, he hasn’t been given ample opportunities to break into the first team.
Only six months after signing for the Lilywhites, he was sent out on loan to Valencia and a year later, he was once again loaned out to his former club, Sevilla. Gil spent the 23-24 season with Spurs, but only played 12 games, totalling 233 minutes on the pitch.
His progression has slowed down massively, and regular game time will be crucial to get things back on track for him. With Savio joining Manchester City, Girona could use a winger like Bryan Gil, and now he must step up to earn his place at his new club.
