Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes could be the subject of transfer speculation in the weeks ahead, with several clubs keeping tabs on him. The Brazilian has been very impressive since joining the Magpies, and has helped them return to competing for European spots.
A release clause valued at £100 million was added in his contract after it was extended a few months ago. The clause will be valid from the first week of May till the last week of June, during which time, any club can sign the midfielder by paying the clause.
Bruno Guimaraes could leave Newcastle United this summer with release clause
David Ornstein has said that #Arsenal are interested in Bruno Guimarães. He pissed us all off in December, but we've held long term interest and he's one hell of a player. But, getting him away from Newcastle would be a tough ask. #AFC pic.twitter.com/FnSwcP3s4N

If the clause is not triggered within June, Newcastle United will have complete control of prices through July and August.
Arsenal and Manchester City have been linked with a move for the 26-year-old, but no concrete approach has been made yet. Interestingly, both clubs have a stacked midfield profile, but are still looking to strengthen their squad for the coming season.
Bruno Guimaraes could be a huge addition to either club, but an agreement with the player and the ability to pay up the release clause will be the defining factor for the deal.
