Bruno Fernandes has become the first player since Eden Hazard to create the most chances in the Premier League in consecutive seasons. The Portuguese created 114 chances this season, 10 more than any other player in the division, but couldn’t help his team beyond 8th place in the table.
The midfielder struggled in the first half of the season, but regained his form in the run-in. In the last ten games of the season, he scored seven goals and provided three assists to help United achieve some form of stability.

The 29-year-old has been one of the silver linings in the season, where United have achieved their lowest ever finish and lost the most number of games.
And as of late, he has been linked with a transfer away from United. The midfielder refused to rule out a move this summer, which could be a huge blow to the first team considering how problematic their attack has been.
Bruno Fernandes can still help Manchester United end the season on a high, and earn qualification to the Europa League if they can win the FA Cup. However, they face their local rivals Manchester City at Wembley in what will be a daunting task considering the Premier League champions’ recent form.
