British GP 2023 results: Defending world champion Max Verstappen won his sixth consecutive race at the British Grand Prix. Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton completed the podium, coming second and third respectively.
McLaren continued their impressive run in the 2023 season, with a second and fourth placed finish in the race. Norris was joined by Oscar Piastri, who dropped out of the top three in spite of his P3 start. Ferrari, on the other hand, finished ninth and tenth, still being unable to get things right for any of their drivers. Charles Leclerc finished ninth while Carlos Sainz came 10th.

Norris had a faster reaction time than Verstappen when the lights went out. The Dutchman acknowledged the drawback in the start, and said that his team would look into the matter.
Red Bull have now equalled McLaren’s record of earning eleven straight wins, and are comfortably leading both the drivers and constructor’s championship this season.
The race was turned into a sprint when the safety car was brought out with 13 laps remaining. Norris defended remarkably to restrict Hamilton to a third place finish, further highlighting the improvements made by his team over the weekend.
Alpine in particular had a race to forget, with both Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly being unable to carry out the full race, resulting in a double DNF.
