Brentford are set to add two new signings to their squad following the arrival of Aaron Hickey on a club record deal. The Scottish left-back joined for £14 million recently, and the fee could be surpassed by a £16 million transfer for Keane Lewis-Potter from Hull City.
The forward has discussed personal terms with the Bees, and has accepted a six-year contract with the Premier League side. Total agreement has been reached between the two sides and it is only a matter of time before the transfer is made official.
The 21-year-old forward was in talks with Brentford for a transfer last summer, but the move didn’t happen. However, this year, the transfer has materialised and is set to be confirmed very soon.

Thomas Frank’s side are also expected to complete the signing of goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha from Lazio on a free transfer. Once the player has passed his medical and has signed all the documents related to the transfer, his move to the Premier League will be made official.
Strakosha made 31 appearances across all competitions for the Biancocelesti this past season. And despite interest from Manchester United, the Greek-Albanian goalkeeper will be joining Brentford. He played for Lazio for almost ten years, winning the Italian Cup twice with them twice, and spending a season on loan at Salernitana in between.
Now, David Raya and Strakosha will be competing for game time and this will likely push both of them to become better.
