The deal signed by the youngster is a three-year one, which will be valid until he is 19 years old. It also has a €60 million release clause, which any club can pay and sign him from the Brazilian club.
The hype around Endrick is comparable to that which surrounded Neymar. Since then, the latter has gone on to have an illustrious career with Barcelona and now, PSG. There is hope that the newly-turned 16-year-old will be able to replicate the same trajectory.
By the numbers, his tally is as impressive as it gets. The winger has scored 165 goals in 169 youth appearances, which is a crazy return. He made a name for himself during the Copinha, scoring seven goals during the tournament and leading Palmeiras to their first title win in 53 years.
It is now time for him to showcase his talent in the Brazilian top flight, and soon, Europe shall follow.
