Braithwaite says he won’t wash his Barcelona kit after Messi's hug

The new striker seems very happy with his debut yesterday and made an immediate impact coming on after half-time and the 20 minutes on the pitch was brilliant.

He helped Leo Messi, who already scored his 54th hat-trick yesterday, to score a quadruple and was also involved in the last goal finished by Arthur. The Denmark international made a good impact on his first outing for the Catalan giants and also won the hearts of the fans as well.

Braithwaite says he won’t wash his Barcelona kit after Messi's hug

I won’t wash my clothes after I hugged Messi. I’m very happy to have given my first assist to Leo. It was an extraordinary debut, a dream come true. When the coach called me to warm up I was a bit nervous but looking forward to getting on. Thanks to the fans for this reception.

Truly this was an amazing start from the signing who was criticized earlier and has earned Quique’s trust already. His addition to the squad has added a spark in the Barcelona attack which got faded after Saurez and Dembele’s injury.

Even though Braithwaite cannot feature in the Champions League clash against Napoli but could feature against the crucial game against Real Madrid next time out in La Liga.
