Fans were very happy because Wednesday as Brahmastra’s first motion poster was revealed at a special event in Delhi. Ranbir Kapoor flaunted a beefed-up avatar, looked spectacular in the image. He held a VFX- enhanced Trishul with Love Shiva in the background. The powerful image had a caption “Part-one- shiva ” also gives out the release date of the first part of the trilogy- September 9, 2022.
The motion poster states Ranbir’s voice claiming that something was happening on the earth not known to mankind. Alia Bhatt then questions Ranbir about this and then wonders and how he is the only got it. Ranbir Kapoor’s role is born for the greater good, ends with Ranbir Kapoor standing on the top of the hill as he holds a Trishul, praises the amazing Shiva image in the background.
The film was in making for four years, for now, Ranvir will be seen as Shiva, who has some supernational powers. The “modern-mythological” drama also has Alia Bhatt as the leading light. Amitabh Bachchan will be playing Ranbir’s guru. Mouni Roy will be the antagonist for the film while south actor Nagarjuna will be seen in a key role.
The movie is being produced by Dharma productions with a heavy budget. It is said that Ayan Mukherjee conceptualised the film back in 2011 when he was shooting for Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. He has always been a fan of mythological series and desired to create a genre around it in Bollywood. This film is very close to his heart.
Alia Bhatt stated that Brahmastra is not only an important film for her career but will play a significant role in entire Bollywood. She has worked very hard and is hopeful for a positive review for her performance in the film.
Karan Johar, the producer of the film is extremely emotional about this film and has high expectations from the entire cast of the film. On Instagram, he shared his thought
“Brahmastra is so much more than a motion picture for all of us…. It’s the largest endeavour I have seen a filmmaker take on … the longest hours I have seen a team work … the most laborious efforts put in by the cast And the crew…. It’s been a 7 year journey for Ayan from conception to visualisation and I have yet to witness a more passionate man than him… I go back to his innocent narration of #wakeupsid and I remember feeling so protective about him … I never imagined that he just like his debut film would so cinematically come of age.”
The fans are super excited to see their favourite stars on screen. Hopefully, the film will be breaking all existing records.
