Brahim Diaz has now extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2027, after returning to the Santiago Bernabeu. The player has been developing for the last three seasons with Milan, but has always had his mind set on a future at the Spanish capital.
Madrid are happy with the progress that he has made in Italy, and now consider him ready for the first team picture. They will also boost his salary which would make him one of the middle earners in the squad.
Brahim Diaz renews contract with Real Madrid until 2027
With Marco Asensio leaving as a free agent, Diaz will be able to directly replace his compatriot in the first team. The former Manchester City player has shown great versatility during his time in Italy and will be able to operate as a versatile figure under Carlo Ancelotti next season.
Madrid have confirmed the return of the player on their social media profiles, and he will be presented as a new signing in the coming weeks alongside Fran Garcia and Jude Bellingham.
While Los Blancos have confirmed the return of Garcia from Rayo Vallecano, they are yet to formally announce the arrival of Bellingham. Dortmund have confirmed a club record sale figure for the English midfielder, but a formal confirmation is pending from the Spanish giants as things stand.
Together, the three players will form an important part of the next era at the club, which will see the likes of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric slowly phased out of the first team picture.
