Brahim Diaz speaks on his future after Milan’s 5-1 win over Sampdoria

Brahim Diaz put in a remarkable performance in Milan’s 5-1 win over Sampdoria, providing two assists and scoring their fourth goal to cap off a dominant performance. The Spaniard kissed the AC Milan badge after scoring, seemingly assuring the fans of his loyalty to the club.

Rumours have linked the Real Madrid loanee back to his parent club this summer. But with so many midfielders already at the Spanish capital, it seems unlikely that Diaz will be getting any playing time. Moreover, he has been firmly integrated into the Milan fold and is a key member of the squad.

The attacking midfielder was rumoured to be involved in Madrid’s bid to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. However, that isn’t true and the Spanish giants are working on a money-only bid to sign the English wonderkid.

“It was to thank all the fans for what they did for us this week. I felt that with my heart, I kissed it with heart. I don’t know what to say about the future, I am very happy here, there are two games left this season and I want to give my all for this team,” Brahim Diaz said after the game.

The Rossoneri recently crashed out of the Champions League, losing to their rivals, Inter in the semifinals. However, they bounced back in the best way possible against Sampdoria with a statement victory.

They are locked in a battle for the top four, and need Inter to slip up to break into the Champions League spots.
