Spiderman: No Way Home has released recently and it emerged as a blockbuster globally. The 3rd part earned $253 million in its first weekend. That’s a 2.08x multiplier from its $121.5 million Friday, which is exactly on par with the mid-December debuts of The Force Awakens ($247 million from a $119 million Friday), Rogue One ($155 million/$75 million), The Last Jedi ($220 million/$105 million) and The Rise of Skywalker ($177 million/$90 million). In just a weekend, it’s already the biggest-grossing domestic earner since Rise of Skywalker ($515 million) two years ago.
Spiderman’s previous sequel which was Far from Home grossed an amount of $350 million by the end of its first week of release and $500 in its first 10 days. In China and Japan, the movie together earned an amount of $90 million in its opening weekend. Far From Home ended up grossing $580.1 million worldwide over its first 10 days of release, including $238 million from international territories in its opening weekend.
How much money did the three Spiderman make altogether?
Spider-man: Homecoming collected $334.2 million in the United States and Canada and $546 million in other countries with a worldwide collection of $880.2 million.
In May 2017, a survey stated that Homecoming was the second-most-anticipated summer blockbuster behind Wonder-woman. By September 24, 2017, the film had earned $874.4 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing superhero film of 2017, and the sixth-largest film based on a Marvel character box office grosses and home media revenues placed it seventh on their list of 2017’s “Most Valuable Blockbusters”
Christmas arrived early for the Marvel Cinematic Universe year. Considering the Covid 19 threat and Omicron threat, Spiderman: No way Home really made an amazing impact in its box office collection. With overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics, who gave the friendly neighbourhood Spider-man’s latest a 94% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and audiences, who bestowed it with a rare ‘A+’ grade from CinemaScore.
