They feature a Spider-Man inspired design with eye-catching RGB lights on the case and earbuds that glow when you open the case, but it’s quite a pain to take the earbuds out every time because of the design. These lightweight earbuds are both stylish and comfortable to wear.
Performance
The Boult Y1 earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4, allowing simultaneous connection with two devices. Connecting them is straightforward:
- Pair with your first device.
- Turn off Bluetooth on the first device.
- Pair with your second device.
- Turn Bluetooth back on for the first device to enjoy music and features on both devices.
With an ultra-low latency of 40ms, these earbuds are perfect for a seamless gaming experience. They are equipped with Quad Mic and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for clear audio and gaming sessions. Like most other budget earbuds, this Boult Y1 earbuds is good enough for hosting meetings or recording something thanks to the Quad Mic ENC; however, due to the lack of ANC, in a noisy environment, attending calls might be an issue. Though I wouldn’t complain about the quality for the price, in terms of both mic and earphones, it’s on the average side.
Battery Life
Supporting Type-C fast charging, the Boult Y1 earbuds offer up to 50 hours of total playtime on a full charge. However, I found they could last up to 60 hours and you won’t have any issues in terms of battery life. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to 150 minutes of playtime.
