Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, Sports Earbuds, and three new Frames goes Official

Almost a year ago Bose showcased its second-gen earbuds namely Earbuds 500 and Earbuds 700 and was expected to launch it last year itself but due to some issues the launch got pushed ahead to 2020 and we finally have these two new earbuds but with a new name and we even get the second generation of Bose Frames which launched last year.

1. Bose QuietComfort Earbuds

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are the first earbuds from Bose to feature active noise-canceling that uses an enhanced algorithm and microphones to cancel out the ambient sound. Not to confuse you but now the Earbuds 700 are officially known as QuietComfort Earbuds which kinda goes with the company’s branding since QC products mainly headphones have been known for their outstanding noise-canceling feature.

The QuietComfort Earbuds borrows customizable noise cancellation from the Bose Headphones 700 which lets you adjust the amount of cancellation and you can even disable it if you want to participate in the real world conversations along with listening to your music.

Bose claims that you won’t be able to find any better sounding earbuds than the QuietComfort Earbuds and it has tuned the QuietComfort Earbuds to be more natural sounding and it also has a new volume-optimized Active EQ. The Bose Earbuds offers 5.1 and the AAC codec. You can control the playback using the touch-sensitive surface of the earbuds.

Bose claims that your earbuds can last for 6 hours of continuous usage while the charging case can if full can completely charge your earbuds twice totaling it to 18 hours and also it can last for 2 hours for 15 minutes of charge and you can even charge its wirelessly as the charging case is Qi certified.

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are available in two colors, Triple Black, and Soapstone at $279 and are currently available for preorders while they’ll be shipping out starting September 30.

2. Bose Sport Earbuds

Bose Sport Earbuds which were earlier known as Earbuds 500 are basically QC Earbuds without auto noise cancellation feature and some other omissions. Bose is focusing more workouts just like its first generation earbuds so its IPX4 rated and it has semi in-ear design with a tiny wingtip to keep them in place so they don’t fall out and Bose is calling these StayHear Max tips.

It features QC Earbuds’ AAC codec and even has the new Active EQ but it has Bluetooth 5.0 instead of 5.1 which can be found on the QC Earbuds. According to Bose, these can last for 5 hours and the case can charge it for two more times which means you can have a total of 15 hours of playback in one charge.

The Bose Sports Earbuds will be available for $179 in three colors Baltic Blue, Glacier White, and Triple Black and you can preorder them now in the US and expect them to arrive after September 30.

3. Bose Frames – Soprano, Tenor, and Tempo

Bose is the second big brand after Snapchat which gave boring sunglasses a techie treatment but in a different way then most people expect since Bose specializes in audio it made Sunglasses an audio accessory. Last year, Bose debuted their frames, and this year they have launched the second generation which has three new designs namely Soprano, Tenor, and Tempo.

The Soprano and Tenor have an everyday look to them while the Tempo has a sporty look that appeals to a totally different category. Like the original Bose Frames, the new Frames come with Bose Open Ear Audio which is said to improve over its last generation. All the Frames are said to offer 5.5 hours of battery life and touch-sensitive sides to control music playback and volume along with a motion sensor to turn them off whenever you remove it.

All three Frames are priced at $250 and will be available from now through Bose and select resellers.

This is quite surprising because MediaTek is still using the 12nm processor for 4G smartphones, But it’d be really great if they start manufacturing more smartphone processors on a lower fabrication
