Borussia Dortmund are closing in on free transfers for two talented Bundesliga players. The first is Daichi Kamada of Eintracht Frankfurt, with whom negotiations are quite advanced.

The Black and Yellow club is confident of getting the deal over the line in the coming weeks. He has been offered a five-year contract, and has verbally accepted the offer. There was interest from several other clubs, but he identified Dortmund as the best solution for him. The contract is yet to be signed, and the deal is not fully complete yet. But it is in the advanced stages as things stand.

Kamada won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt last season, capping off a very impressive display. And this season, he has 13 goals and five assists in 30 games across all competitions. At 26, he is entering his peak years, and could spend them as a regular in the Champions League if he makes the move to the Westfalenstadion.

The other free transfer target that Borussia Dortmund have their eyes on is Ramy Bensebaini of Borussia Monchengladbach. The left-back has been on their radar for a very long time, and is now expected to make the move when his contract expires.

Bensebaini has played for Gladbach since 2019, and has scored six goals in 21 games across all competitions. He hasn’t signed the contract offered by Dortmund as of yet, but is expected to follow Kamada to the club in the summer as well.
