Borussia Dortmund in talks to bring Jadon Sancho back from Man Utd 2 years after €85m move

Borussia Dortmund are looking into a January loan move to bring Jadon Sancho back to the club from Manchester United. The Bundesliga side are in contact with United over their former winger, and the player feels that a return to Germany might be the right move for him to revive his career.

Sancho hasn’t featured for the Red Devils since his public fallout with Erik Ten Hag over the reasons for his absence in the game vs Arsenal. He has reportedly been exiled from training and eating with the rest of the squad as well, and has not featured in the matchday squad in spite of being available.

The move is set to go through once the two clubs can reach an agreement over the loan fee and the salary coverage. Juventus were one of the other clubs linked with the former England international, but it seems that Dortmund now have the upper hand.

Jadon Sancho shot to prolific status during his time in the black and yellow shirt, scoring 50 goals and providing 64 assists in 137 games across all competitions for Dortmund. He also won the German Super Cup and the DFB Pokal during his time there, and could be a huge addition to their current squad.

A permanent deal could be on the cards later on, but the asking price could prove to be a stumbling block since United will want to get back most of the €85 million they spent on him two years ago.
