FC Goa have retained the services of Borja Herrera for another season. The midfielder will stay with head coach Manolo Marquez for another campaign after previously playing under him at Las Palmas and Hyderabad FC.
Herrera joined the Gaurs just a day after he won the Kalinga Super Cup with East Bengal this past season. And now, he has signed with them for the 24-25 season as well, completing their foreigner quota of six.

Herrera made 14 appearances for Goa across all competitions, including the ISL playoffs. He scored two goals and provided three assists after joining them in January. And with a full preseason behind him, he could prove to be more influential.
FC Goa have a challenging season ahead of them, after letting go of Noah Sadaoui and Brandon Fernandes, both of whom were key components of their attack.
While they have signed Dejan Drazic and Iker Guarrotxena to reinforce their attack, it will certainly be difficult to replace the outgoing pair owing to their quality. The club has also retained Odei Onaindia and Carl McHugh for the coming season, and is expected to announce the arrival of Armando Sadiku officially in the coming days.
