Day 1 of the BMIC 2026 International Cup ended with NS on top of the overall table by a single point. DK is right behind them, and the rest of the field is close enough that one strong match can reshape the leaderboard. Day 2 starts with plenty still to play for, and with 12 of the event’s 18 matches still ahead, the title race is far from settled.

## Where the Standings Stand

| Rank | Team | Wins (WWCD) | Finish Points | Position Points | Total |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | NS | 1 | 42 | 30 | 72 |
| 2 | DK | 2 | 42 | 29 | 71 |
| 3 | KRX | 1 | 37 | 19 | 56 |
| 4 | OR | 1 | 30 | 17 | 47 |
| 5 | DCP | 0 | 31 | 10 | 41 |
| 6 | BLEC | 0 | 23 | 14 | 37 |
| 7 | KN | 0 | 18 | 17 | 35 |
| 8 | K9 | 1 | 24 | 10 | 34 |
| 9 | 8BIT | 0 | 20 | 12 | 32 |
| 10 | RIC | 0 | 18 | 11 | 29 |
| 11 | FS | 0 | 21 | 6 | 27 |
| 12 | GDR | 0 | 21 | 4 | 25 |
| 13 | SOUL | 0 | 21 | 3 | 24 |
| 14 | MTR | 0 | 17 | 3 | 20 |
| 15 | VAL | 0 | 13 | 4 | 17 |
| 16 | VS | 0 | 2 | 3 | 5 |

The points system rewards both finishing and winning. Each finish is worth one point, and a chicken dinner adds a large position bonus. That is why Kiwoom DRX’s 13-finish Match 6 pushed them to 23 points in a single game, and why teams with strong finish counts can climb quickly even without many wins.

## What to Expect on Day 2

**A two-team race at the top.** NS and DK are separated by one point. Whichever team wins the next few matches will have a clear claim to lead the event, and the other will be chasing. Expect both sides to play aggressively when they need points, but also to protect their positioning.

**Kiwoom DRX looking to close the gap.** KRX sit 16 points behind NS after a strong Match 6 on Miramar. Their 2,023 damage and 13 finishes showed they can control a match. If they carry that form into Day 2, they can move into contention for the top two.

**Pressure on mid-table teams.** Teams such as 8BIT, RIC, FS, and GDR are all within a narrow band of points. A single chicken dinner could move a team several places, which means the middle of the table is likely to be volatile.

**Teams with something to prove.** K9 won Match 5 but scored nothing in Match 6, and they are now 8th on 34 points. VS sit last on 5 points, and VAL are 15th on 17. These teams will need consistent finishes to stay relevant in the second half of the event.

**Map variety.** Day 1 used Rondo, Erangel, and Miramar, and the event is likely to keep rotating maps, which rewards teams that can adapt their rotations and combat style quickly.

## Teams to Watch

| Team | Why They Matter on Day 2 |
| --- | --- |
| NS | Lead the table by one point and have the strongest finish count so far (42) |
| DK | Two chicken dinners on Day 1 and tied on finish points with NS |
| KRX | Won Match 6 with 13 finishes and sit 16 points behind the leaders |
| OR | Fourth overall on 47 points with one win so far |
| K9 | Took a Miramar chicken dinner in Match 5 and need to rebuild momentum |

## Players to Watch

Among the tournament’s standout performers, DKXNOLBU leads the MVP rankings with a rating of 4.07, 20 finishes, and 3,474 damage. NSXXZY1 and ORNINJABOII are next, both with strong damage and finish numbers. On the Kiwoom DRX side, KRXQXZZZ was Match 6 MVP and is one of the team’s key contributors.

Leadership also matters. NSXSOEZ was named Best IGL after Day 1, with an IGL rating of 1.6, five top-five finishes, and one win. How the in-game leaders call rotations and manage late-game fights could decide several of Day 2’s matches.

## The Stakes

Day 1 showed that this event is decided by consistency. Teams that finish high in most matches will climb, even without a chicken dinner every game. Day 2 will test whether NS and DK can hold their lead, whether Kiwoom DRX can keep their Miramar form, and whether the teams in the middle of the table can break through.
