There are K-dramas that entertain — and then there are K-dramas that genuinely disturb your moral compass for days. *Bloody Flower* is firmly the latter. Disney+’s darkest Korean thriller of 2026 is racing toward its finale, and after six episodes of courtroom tension, ethical chaos, and a serial killer who somehow makes you question your own judgment, the final two episodes promise to deliver answers — and probably even more uncomfortable questions.

*Bloody Flower* centers on Lee Woo-gyeom, a serial killer who possesses genius medical skills, and the legal and moral conflict surrounding his case — explored through a defense attorney who seeks to protect Lee for personal reasons, and a prosecutor attempting to convict him. The central haunting question, drawn from the tradition of classic [medical ethics](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_ethics) dilemmas: *Is it just to preserve a killer’s life to save many others?* Through the paradox of a villain who deserves to die becoming the only lifeline for someone else, the series asks viewers what judgment they would make in each episode. ## What Happened in Episodes 5–6?

After being treated with a drug associated with Lee Woo-gyeom, the judges begin to soften regarding Lee’s sentencing after a terminally ill man surprisingly recovers. Chae Jeong-su of Chaeum Medical Center plans to develop a new drug using Lee’s blood and enlists Han-jun to convince Lee to assist in treating patients with it. Episode 6 concludes with Yi-yeon examining a separate case involving a body discovered after more than two days — and receiving urgent news: Lee has fled during a live medical demonstration, leaving authorities scrambling. [Plex](https://watch.plex.tv/movie/how-to-make-a-killing-2026)

The drama is building to a breakneck finale. Lee is no longer contained. And every institution around him looks increasingly compromised.

## What to Expect in Episodes 7 & 8 — The Finale

The narrative trajectory suggests that Lee could transition from a monitored subject to a pivotal whistleblower, and the unresolved death of Kim Hye-ju is unlikely to remain classified as a natural cause. [Plex](https://watch.plex.tv/movie/how-to-make-a-killing-2026)

Episodes 7 and 8 of *Bloody Flower* will release on **February 25, 2026**, on Disney+ globally, also available on Kocowa+ and Viu with English subtitles. [Letterboxd](https://letterboxd.com/film/how-to-make-a-killing-2026/)

Will Lee be brought to justice? Will his cure save lives? Or will the institutions trying to control him prove just as guilty? The finale is going to be a lot.
