Services Offered

The newly launched emergency transport service promises that all ambulances will be fully equipped with crucial life-saving equipment such as oxygen cylinders, defibrillators, stretchers, monitors, and essential emergency medications. Each ambulance will also have a trained paramedic and an assistant, in addition to the driver, ensuring comprehensive care during transit.

Pricing

While Dhindsa did not disclose the exact cost of the service, he emphasized that profitability is not the main objective of this initiative. He mentioned that the service will be priced affordably to ensure accessibility for customers, with a long-term goal of solving the critical issue of emergency transport. Dhindsa also revealed that Blinkit plans to carefully scale the service, aiming for expansion to major cities over the next two years.

This announcement follows another recent launch by Blinkit. Earlier, Dhindsa revealed the introduction of a large fleet of electric vehicles designed to handle bulky electronics and party orders.
