BLACKPINK’s indenture with YG Entertainment will end in August of this year. Industry insiders revealed that the music label is supposedly preparing to offer millions of dollars to BLACKPINK to renew their bond, Koreaboo reported.

Giving to the insider report, Lisa is receiving an overseas suggestion of 81.2 million USD. “From what I understand, [agencies] in nations like China expressed their desire to offer guarantees everywhere KRW 100 billion (about USD 81.2 million) won to Lisa, who has whole influence in not only her home country of Thailand then the Southeast Asian market.”

“When you reflect the scale of the Korean market, it’ll be solid for [Korean agencies] to handle that kind of offer,” they elucidated.

BLACKPINK YG Entertainment is planning to shell out a million dollars to the group to renew the contract

Several Korean media passages reported that YG Entertainment is preparing to shell out 16.2 million USD per affiliate as a bonus for BLACKPINK to renew their contract with them.

According to Nate News, “Industry insiders anticipate that YG will offer the down payment of at slightest KRW 20.0 billion (about USD 16.2 million) per member to keep BLACKPINK… Contract restitutions are usually for 2~3 years.”

“If the rumors are true, besides they give each member KRW 20.0 billion (about USD 16.2 million), for an entire KRW 80.0 billion (about USD 65.0 million), YG will need to calculate if they’ll be able to make a revenue within that period,” they continued.
