In the United States, the movie has a $180 million opening and also set a new record for the top opening this November has surpassed The Hunger Games: Catching Fire with a $158 million record set in 2013.
Wakanda Forever has the biggest opening weekend with the second biggest this year, that’s only behind Marvel Studios’ Doctor Stange in the Multiverse of Madness as the flick started at $187.4 million. There are certain ideas we’ve floated around of what a third film could be if we get to make it. But until the movie comes out, we’re a bit superstitious in that way. We don’t want to count our chickens, because you never know what’s going to happen.”
