The wait for [Rajinikanth](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajinikanth)‘s return as Muthuvel Pandian is almost over. *Jailer 2* is slated to hit theatres on October 15, 2026, and the makers have just turned up the heat with the fourth single, *Bindass*. It’s a high-energy dance number, and it’s already the talk of the town.

### Bindass: The Song in Brief

*Bindass* features Nora Fatehi in a special appearance, and the track is built for the dance floor. Anirudh Ravichander composed it and sang it alongside Deepthi Suresh. With Anirudh’s name attached, fans expect a chartbuster, and this track adds a glamorous, party-ready flavour to an album that has so far leaned on Rajinikanth’s swagger.

### More Music Is on the Way

This isn’t the end of the musical rollout. The makers plan to unveil 12 tracks in total, including the ones already released. Alongside the audio launch, an Anirudh rave will stream online from October 3, 2026. The trailer follows soon after, on October 5, 2026.

*Jailer 2* continues the story after the 2023 blockbuster, with Rajinikanth reprising his role as Muthuvel Pandian. The cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, and Suraj Venjaramoodu in key roles. The makers have already shared glimpses of Suraj, Suryah, and Vidya, who are reportedly expected to play antagonists.

There’s also star-studded cameo buzz. Hrithik Roshan, Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Vijay Sethupathi are reportedly expected to appear, though none of this has been officially confirmed.

### What’s Next for Rajinikanth?

Beyond *Jailer 2*, the superstar is set to headline *Dharman*, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. He is expected to play a stylish doctor, with Simran Bagga, Yogi Babu, and Raashii Khanna in the cast. Anirudh handles the music there too, with Niketh Bommireddy on cinematography and the Anbariv duo on action. Reports suggest Ram Pothineni may play the main antagonist, but that remains unconfirmed.

He also has the tentatively titled KHxRK, which reportedly reunites him with Kamal Haasan after 40 years.
