Cameo’s quirky proposition to connect fans directly to celebrities has allowed athletes to make an extra buck to fuel their lavish lifestyles! 

Bloomberg recently reported that Cameo in discussions to raise funds at a valuation of about $1 billion. With this in mind, OnlineGambling.ca took a look at the biggest subset of celebs on the marketplace – athletes!

Onlinegambling.ca investigates which athletes charge the most on Cameo, an app that has a $1 billion valuation. With over 8000 sports celebs available for personalized shoutouts, key findings include:

  • Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner is the most expensive person on Cameo, charging $2500 per shoutout
  • Four out of top 10 most expensive athletes are NFL players
  • Football, basketball, baseball, boxing and soccer celebs are the top 5 most expensive sports
  • NFL players are the most prominent – with 2262 sports stars listed on the marketplace
  • NBA players from the Detroit Pistons have the highest costs per video – almost $300 on average

The 10 Most Expensive Sports Stars Cameo Shout-Outs that Money Can Buy

There are more than 8000+ sports celebrities offering personal shoutouts on the platform. Former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner is the most expensive sports star asking for a cool $2500 per video. NFL players make up four out of ten most expensive celebs as well as two NBA pros.

Football, basketball and baseball have the most prominent presence on Cameo as well as charging fans the most on average per video. Coming in cheapest are track and field, cricket and rugby stars who only ask for $50-60 per video on average.
