The highly anticipated show, ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2‘, kicked off with a grand entrance by the charismatic host, Salman Khan. Dressed in a stylish denim-on-denim ensemble, he set the stage on fire with his energetic performance on the song ‘Hangover’ from the movie ‘Kick’, setting the perfect tone for the exciting season ahead.
As the contestants were introduced, an unexpected twist awaited them in the form of a novel money system. Each housemate received individual BB currencies, creating a simulated economy within the house. This unique concept allowed the contestants to strategically manage their resources and make essential purchases such as rations and other items, adding a strategic element to the game.
Dressed elegantly in a black saree, Pooja Bhatt joined Salman Khan on the ‘BB OTT Season 2’ set, where he explained the new guidelines, loopholes, and surprises that awaited the contestants.
Falaq Naaz, the first contender to enter the house this year, made a strong impression on Salman. Being the sister of actor Sheezan Khan, Falaq was praised by Salman for her strength and resilience.
Next, Abhishek Malhan, also known as Fukra Insaan, was introduced by Salman. The two engaged in amusing banter, and Abhishek surprised everyone by declaring that he was no longer a fan of Jiya Shankar. Sunny and Abhishek shared a lighthearted moment before the panelists made their final decision. Ultimately, the duo secured the sixth position with a combined total of 65,000 BB currency.
The excitement continued to escalate with the introduction of Manisha Rani, who made a grand entry by singing the popular song ‘Oonchi Hai Building’ and warmly embraced Salman multiple times. Viewers were enthralled by the captivating performances and the intriguing dynamics among the housemates.

Bigg Boss OTT 2 Updates: How to use BB Currencies?
In this, each of the contestants will get BB currency based on their ranks. The twist is the rank is decided by the vote of the audience. Whoever was determined as the first by the audience, they were changed by panelists at the grand premiere. As an example the first contestant Falaq Naaz! The Sasural Simar ka actress got a ninth position in audience rankings and acquired only Rs. 30,000 according to her Bigg Boss currencies. While the panel will give her a promotion to the fourth position the currencies will boost to Rs. 1,50,000.
