Bigg Boss OTT 2 have reached at the last and final week of the second season. The contestants in “Bigg Boss” have faced elimination for various reasons. From Jad Hadid’s controversial kissing episode with Akanksha Puri to Jiya Shankar adding liquid soap to drinking water, and the fights between Avinash and Elvish, there have been many incidents that sparked controversy on social media and attracted a large viewership for the OTT show. The digital reality show is an adaptation of the Hindi-language television series “Bigg Boss,” which is broadcasted on TV. Karan Johar hosted the inaugural season of “Bigg Boss OTT Season 1,” which premiered on August 8th.
The winner of “Bigg Boss OTT” received a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakhs, similar to the substantial award given on the “Bigg Boss” TV program.

The grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 is scheduled for August 14th. The five finalists competing for the title are Pooja Bhatt, Abhishek Malhan, Elvish Yadav, Manisha Rani, and Bebika Dhurve. Avinash Sachdev, who was eliminated from the house last week, expressed his support for Pooja Bhatt and Elvish Yadav as potential winners of the game.
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Elvish Yadav Fans Have made a huge Traffic Jam In Delhi for support
Elvish Yadav, a popular YouTuber, has a massive fan base. During a recent event in Delhi, approximately 100,000 people showed up to support him. Some enthusiasts even caused traffic congestion by gathering in their cars and bikes. This car rally was organized by fans to show their support for Elvish as the finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 approached. A video circulating on social media shows police officers stepping in to maintain crowd control.
This is not the first time that fans have come together to support a contestant from Bigg Boss. Previously, both MC Stan and Shiv Thakare had gathered a strong fan base during their time on ‘Bigg Boss 16’.
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Jiya Shankar didn’t speak her Father in 20 Years
Jiya Shankar, a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 2, was recently evicted from the house. During an interview, Jiya revealed that she has had no contact with her estranged father for the past 20 years. She admitted to not knowing his whereabouts or even what he looks like. According to Jiya, her father has moved on and now has a wife and another daughter from his second marriage, which is why he no longer has any interest in their lives.
Jiya shared that her father was very protective, and she sometimes feels his absence when interacting with elderly people. As a child, whenever someone said something to her, she would run to her father for support, and he would always stand up for her. He had a strong sense of protection towards her. Whenever Jiya feels unsafe or unable to confront someone, she misses him deeply.
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Pooja Bhatt Explains To Abhishek Malhan about her comment
In the most recent episode, Pooja Bhatt addresses a misunderstanding with Abhishek Malhan and shares some insights into her financial struggles. When Abhishek expresses his dislike for her referring to them as ‘chote log,’ Pooja explains that by ‘choti soch’ she meant people with a narrow-minded mindset. She also clarifies that if she had meant position, she would have considered herself at the lowest level.
Pooja Bhatt reminded Abhishek of the time her father Mahesh Bhatt had come to the ‘Bigg Boss’ house and shared that he only had Rs. 1200 when she was born. Talking about her financial struggles, Pooja said there was a time when she only had Rs. 4000 in her bank account.

Jiya Shankar was evicted during the middle of the week leading up to the Bigg Boss OTT 2 finale. When asked about Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav, Jiya expressed her genuine desire for Abhishek to win.
Jiya Shankar clarified that all the flirting was just casual and playful. She mentioned, “I really do like him a lot. We used to flirt and joke around… I never thought he would remain just my only friend.”
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Abhishek doesn’t care For The Trophy
In a recent update from the Bigg Boss house, Abhishek Malhan expressed his unwavering support for Elvish and Manisha, regardless of whether or not he wins. During a conversation with Bebika, they discussed the importance of deserving the win if people genuinely believe he should be the winner. However, even if he doesn’t emerge as the victor, Abhishek shared that he holds no negative feelings towards his friends. Nonetheless, there will always be a lingering thought in his mind that he deserved to win.
Further in the conversation, Abhishek telles Bebika that even if he does not win and the janta(audience) thinks he deserved to win, that is more of a victory for him.
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan engaged for an Argument
In the most recent episode, Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan are openly discussing their differences as the show approaches its finale. They had an argument when Elvish expressed to Pooja that he was hurt by Abhishek’s comment about not considering him a winner because he entered the competition as a wild card entry.
Abhishek was confronted by Elvish regarding the issue. Abhishek stayed true to his word, stating that he had a longer journey on the show and believed that Elvish often withheld his opinions even when he felt strongly about something. Elvish clarified that he is not inclined to offer unnecessary opinions when they are not required.
