In a surprising turn of events, comedian Puneet Kumar, aka Lord Puneet Superstar, faced an early eviction from the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house just 12 hours after the show’s launch on Saturday. Puneet’s quirky and often irritating antics, like pouring phenyl on his head and smearing toothpaste on his face, quickly grated on his fellow housemates’ nerves.
Within the confines of the house, Puneet found himself entangled in a fiery confrontation with Cyrus Broacha, intensifying the already charged atmosphere. Prior to stepping foot into the house, Puneet fearlessly prophesied that host Salman would require medication to endure the inevitable headache he would create. Moreover, he openly expressed his views on the distinct personalities drawn to participate in the Bigg Boss house, potentially providing a glimpse into his mindset ahead of the looming eviction. This clash between Puneet and Cyrus served to add further fuel to the already smoldering tensions, setting the stage for a dramatic turn of events within the house.
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Puneet Kumar’s comments
While talking with Indian Express, he said, “They try to come across as someone who they are not. They also keep abusing each other and insulting women. But people know me as ‘Lord’ for a reason. I am an honest person and I am sure fans will vote for me because of these qualities.”
He added about Salman, “I will caution him to have enough Disprin in stock. He would need one every time he hears me. He will definitely get irritated by my dialogues. I am sure he will question where the makers brought me from.”
Bigg Boss OTT 2: Other contestants of the show
Without Puneet, actors Falaq Naaz, Akanksha Puri, Avinash Sachdev, Palak Pursvani, Jiya Shankar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui entered the Bigg Boss house. Cyrus Broacha and Pooja Bhatt also visited the house.
Salman Khan’s message
During a press meeting for Bigg Boss OTT 2, Salman Khan, the renowned host, took a moment to address the media and shed light on his plans for the upcoming season of the controversial reality show. It’s worth noting that Salman’s hosting stint on the OTT platform comes after his recent comments advocating for scrutiny of OTT content, particularly in relation to vulgarity and nudity. Once again, he stressed the need for diligent monitoring and examination of such material, reiterating his stance on responsible content creation.
“Main OTT pe bhi kuch aisa nahin hone dunga jo culture ke khilaaf hai (I won’t let anyone do something that is against our culture)…. I think guidelines have also been implemented on OTT which led to the content’s improvement,” he told.
