What sets BCL apart from other T20 tournaments? Unlike leagues featuring only retired players, the BCL brings together a unique mix of former international superstars, domestic first class cricketers, and aspiring Indian talents. Each team has a squad of 18 players, including:
- 6 international stars (one marquee player)
- 2 first class cricketers
- 10 local aspiring players
In every playing XI, five aspiring players will share the field with four international icons, creating an inspiring platform for the next generation of Indian cricket.
