## What’s the Bhooth Bangla Story?

Arjun Acharya, a financially struggling man, inherits his ancestral palace in Mangalpur and decides to host his sister’s long-delayed wedding there — despite a terrifying legend that no bride survives in the town. As supernatural events intensify and a dark secret about the palace emerges, Arjun must confront an ancient evil to save his family.

Sounds spooky? Wait till Akshay Kumar walks in and turns everything into a laugh riot.

## Why Fans Are Going Crazy Over the Trailer

The nearly 3-minute trailer puts the humour front and centre. Akshay Kumar steals the show — there’s no one quite like him in comedy — backed brilliantly by Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, and the late Asrani. The makers have also slipped in two famous dialogues from Priyadarshan’s classic comedies, which are pure nostalgia gold.

Tabu, despite limited screen time in the trailer, completely steals the show and leaves audiences desperately curious about her character. Fan reactions on X say it all — *“Better than expectations”* and *“The good old days of comedy are back!”*

## Priyadarshan’s Big Bollywood Return

Bhooth Bangla marks Priyadarshan’s second Hindi horror-comedy after Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), and is Akshay Kumar’s seventh collaboration with the director — 14 years after Khatta Meetha (2010).
