Here’s the shocker: **Saif Ali Khan** and **Arjun Kapoor** won’t be returning for the sequel. According to inside sources, the makers are planning a complete casting refresh to bring new energy to the franchise.

“The idea is to reinvent the franchise with a new duo. The makers are looking at two actors—one senior and one junior to create an interesting combo,” revealed a source close to the development.

- Create fresh chemistry on screen
- Attract a broader theatrical audience
- Expand the franchise universe
- Maintain the horror-comedy essence with elevated storytelling

## From OTT to Big Screen

The original *Bhoot Police* premiered directly on OTT in 2021, featuring Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor as quirky ghost hunters alongside **Jacqueline Fernandez** and **Yami Gautam**. While it found its audience on streaming platforms, the sequel is being designed specifically for theatrical release.

“It’s a proper horror comedy, staying true to the genre but more of a theatrical treatment,” the source added.
