BGMI: Shubham “Driger” Quiriyal, an esports player for Orangutan Gaming in BGMI, set up a livestream to play scrims on April 15, 2023. Renowned athletes like Arjun “ShadowOG” Mandhalkar and Ritesh “Fierce” Nawandar joined him. The trio discussed the prospect of the game being permanently outlawed.
The permanent ban on BGMI has not yet been confirmed by the Indian government, as ShadowOG noted.
When gamers had no idea what the year 2020 would bring, ShadowOG made reference to PUBG Mobile’s ban. They were only aware that the game would return. If the game had to be permanently outlawed, ShadowOG continued, its servers would have shut down. He also discussed how everyone is currently perplexed as to the precise date of the title.\
Fierce and Driger replied that there had been some warning signs prior to the 2020 ban. An announcement, photo shoots, and a teaser for Battlegrounds Mobile India were all made. The possibility of no photo shoots or trailers this time around was also mentioned. Either the game will show up right away or it won’t.
Driger also emphasised how earlier, people in Krafton had sources who could give them rough dates. The government is now in charge, and even Krafton officials don’t appear to be aware of the precise date of BGMI’s return. Consequently, no one is giving dates any longer.
