The KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI), founded by BGMI manufacturer Krafton, aims to boost and develop the nation’s gaming industry. With a duration of six months to a year, Krafton’s KIGI program will support six to ten teams yearly by mentoring them and giving them access to internal resources like data analytics and market research. Participants will have the option to self-publish their games after the program is through, or they can accept venture capital backing from outside investors and Krafton.
According to Krafton, KIGI will concentrate on businesses that are ready to grow, open to mentoring, enthusiastic about game creation, and interested in potential future funding options. The corporation emphasizes that gambling and businesses focused on real money gaming will not be taken into consideration for this project.
Anuj Sahani, a former executive at Gameloft and Electronic Arts, will be in charge of the KIGI program. In a statement about the new initiative, Sahani said, “We are enthusiastic about witnessing the emergence of groundbreaking ideas and games from the program.”

Famous gaming executives, game developers, and industry professionals, including creative director of PUBG Studios Dave Curd and game producer at KRAFTON Harns Kim, will coach the individuals chosen for the KIGI program.
Depending on the needs of the companies, the financial help provided under the KIGI program will vary from $50,000 to $1,50,000. For the new effort, Krafton claims it is aggressively seeking early-stage entrepreneurs, students, and independent developers.
